The mission of the Every Student Succeeds Initiative is to ensure every Oregon student experiences success by recognizing the full range of individual strengths, effort, and potential that broaden how success is defined and celebrated.
About the Initiative
Every student deserves to succeed, which becomes considerably easier once success reflects whatever every student happens to achieve. The Initiative celebrates the unique strengths, efforts, experiences, and potential of every learner by continually broadening what achievement can mean. By expanding the definition of success, Oregon can ensure educational outcomes continue improving even when educational outcomes don’t.
