The mission of the Cost of Affordability Initiative is to strengthen Oregon by ensuring affordability through sustained public investment, expanded financial support, and policies that support continued investments in affordability.
About the Initiative
Making things affordable requires investment, and investment requires money, which unfortunately makes affordability increasingly expensive. The Initiative addresses this challenge through subsidies, incentives, assistance programs, administrative support, and continued public investment designed to reduce the cost of things that continue to cost more. And as the cost of affordability rises, we remain committed to investing whatever is necessary to keep affordability affordable.
